It is amazing to watch the news everyday as there are more and more ways that people are trying to make extra money. Thanks to the higher prices at the gas pump, people are trying their hand at scrap metals and the likes. Case in point the newest item to be stolen in the Upstate of South Carolina area..... catalytic converters. Yes, I said it right, the very catalytic converter that you find on your vehicle. Since a catalytic converter contains platinum, you can get some good money if you take them to the scrap yard. An electrical supply house had 4 of them stolen the other night from their delivery trucks.

Neighborhood Watch

I was looking at the local news today, and there is a neighborhood around the Greenville, SC area that is looking into a video surveillance system for the neighborhood streets. Just last week a 19 year old woman was attacked and raped while she was jogging.
